To celebrate the legacy of happiness that our great supporter, Sir Ken Dodd left behind BBC2 will be given over to an evening of Doddy programming on 23rd March to celebrate the 70th anniversary of his first ever appearance on TV.

Central to the evening will be the film "A legacy of Happiness" which will feature our Patron Lady Anne Dodd talking about how she wants to continue Ken's legacy not only in supporting good causes (of which we are a very grateful recipient) but also the work involved in bringing Ken's greatest dream to life, the creation of a Comedy Museum - the Sir Ken Dodd Happiness Centre. Work that will be celebrated on 26th March when Lady Anne is admitted to the city's "Roll of Citizen of Honour" where her name will feature on a plaque alongside her husband who was given the freedom of the City in 2001.
You can also see the full unedited film which features the opening of the Sir Ken Dodd Education and Knowledge Centre at LHCH at Shakespeare North on 3rd May.
You can see a short clip of Lee Mack talking about Doddy here and don't forget to make sure you watch what is sure to be an unforgettable evening!
